Why did I have sinus surgery 8 years ago?

I had my sinus surgery 8 years ago because of chronic sinus infections. Recovery was awful. I was a pukey, bloody mess. The bright side is that I rarely get sick anymore. Headaches are fewer and farther between and when I get them, they’re less painful.
