How long do the side effects of Levaquin last?

Unfortunately, the side-effects of Levaquin and other quinolones such as Cipro can last for months or longer. I took Cipro 6 months ago and I’m still experiencing full body tendonitis, joint pain, muscle pain and weakness, tingling and burning sensations, stabbing pains, and more. The insomnia went away after about 6 weeks for me.

When to take Levaquin before or after antacids?

Take at least two hours before or two hours after antacids or preparations containing iron or zinc. Should be taken exactly as directed and for the time period indicated to reduce the risk of resistant bacteria developing, unless side effects force early discontinuation.

Can a person with liver disease take Levaquin?
