Their words:

Sullivan Hall is a music and event venue located in Greenwich Village in downtown Manhattan near the New York University community. We are big music fans who frequent shows and are friends with many musicians and artist representatives. We listened to what they had to say about the type of venue they'd like to see in New York City. We created an ideal venue for both performers and fans alike. We put a state of the art sound and lighting system, and the space has near perfect sight lines. Even on a sold out show, you will have an intimate experience with your favorite performers at Sullivan Hall.

Our words:

Formerly the Lion's Den, Sullivan Hall used to primarily cater to the jam band / tribute band demographic, whoever that may be. More recently however, they have presented some pretty awesome bills, including recent shows with keyboard menace Marco Benevento and saxophone magician Skerik. The space is unassuming, with quality sound and a full bar, so on the occasion of a great show, Sullivan hall is worth the ticket. Sullivan Hall has live music every night with a cover charge between $10 and $20, but it's not always jazz so check the schedule beforehand.
