Their words:
The National Jazz Museum in Harlem has over the course of several years evolved into a major cultural presence in New York City. We hope you will join us for our free weekly programs in Harlem, which include our course JAZZ FOR CURIOUS LISTENERS, our interview series HARLEM SPEAKS, and/or to visit our newly opened Visitor's Center. See you soon!
Our words:
What's unique about the Jazz Museum in Harlem is that it is a cultural center dedicated exclusively to jazz. This venue hosts workshops and classes as well as interviews and performances: all jazz-related. The Jazz Museum also organizes and promotes Jazz performances throughout the city, including hosting the summer Jazz in the Parks Series with the Department of Recreation. There is not live music every night due to the variety of events hosted there, so check the schedule for performances.
