Our Words: After spending some time in a different location, Puppets has upgraded considerably at its new digs. They have comfortable table seating by the stage and a beautiful, well-stocked bar. Wednesday nights feature an hour of solo piano by Arturo O’Farrill at 7 followed by the John McNeil group at 9. The weekend brunches are a great opportunity to check out up-and-comers on the Brooklyn scene.
Music Every Night?: They present jazz every night of the week Monday through Saturday as well as jazz brunches on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
