Our Words: It's no wonder the New Yorker calls this place the city's "most prestigious jazz club." Despite the (mostly justified) attitude, this no-nonsense Greenwich Village basement undeniably showcases the world's absolute best jazz on a consistent basis. If you're looking for a serious listening experience, impeccable sound, and guaranteed high-quality programming, treat yourself to an evening at this historical treasure - just be prepared to pay for it.
Music Every Night?: Yes. Doors at 8 pm, sets at 9 pm and 11 pm, sometimes a 3rd set at 12:30 am on Saturdays.

Reservations: Yes, by phone. Call (212) 255-4037 with name, # of people, which night, which set. Make sure to get there 15 minutes before show time or they'll give your seat away. You can also get tickets online now too. It's always a good idea to get there early if you want a decent seat.
