Our Words: A seemingly secret spot to trance out to house beats interspersed with live improvisational madness, this jam den is definitely off the beaten path, and regularly features some highly qualified sidemen and bandleaders from around the world. Go to Alphabet City, and look for the blue light on a Tuesday night to scope the (not so) Shitty Shitty Jam Band, featuring members of Brazilian Girls, one of several bands to emerge from Nublu's petri dish.
