Val-Inc A.K.A. Val Jeanty, is a dynamic turntablist, producer, percussionist, and recording engineer from Haiti. She has presented her absorbing and provocative "Afro-electronica" compositions at various esteemed venues such as The Whitney Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, The Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York and abroad, appearing at major art and music festivals such as SaalFelden Music Festival in Austria, Stanser Musiktage in Switzerland, and The Biennale Museum in Italy. As a recording engineer in New York City, she has worked at several notable recording studios such as The Cutting Room, Sound on Sound,The Power State, and Avatar Studios, with an array of diverse musicians like Wadada Leo Smith, Geri Allen and Anthony Braxton. She is the recipient of various endowments which include The Van Lier Grant, Meet the Composer Grant and has asserted herself as an incisive seer of electronic music.
